Getting Involved PDF Print E-mail

Want to get involved with Open Source? This is your chance! Unfortunately Bernardo and Claudio don't have enough hands to take care of all the projects that have been started so any help is gratefully received.

The best way to get started is to check some of the projects out, play around with them a bit, see which ones grab your interest and then speak with Bernardo or Claudio about what needs doing or fix JIRA issues for the project, whatever strikes your fancy.

Checking out the code

Using your favourite SVN client or command line tool, the code can be checked out from the following location: http://svn.stormwindproject.org/svn/

Each of the projects is in its own Visual Studio Solution and they have been designed in such a  way that you can download them independently.

To get committer access you need to contact Bernardo or Claudio but the code can be checked out anonymously.

Mailing List

We have a mailing list setup with Google Groups: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

You can join the group by going here

Committing Stuff

So you have an SVN account setup and you just checked in some code.

Check the Continuous Integration build to check you didn't break anything! The aim is to have one of these for each project.

If you added any new classes don't forget to make sure that these follow the StormWind Coding Standards.
